The Chinese Arts Centre is giving away ten limited edition
canvas bags desgined by Hong Kon artist Joey Leung Ka
Yin to celebrate the new year. These specially
commissioned, eco-friendly stylish tote bags feature a
striking line drawing design with the speech bubble 'So I
won't love you anymore plastic bag'.
To win all you have to do is visit the Chinese Arts Centre between
Thursday 7 Februaryand Sunday 11 February and wish the staff there a
'Happy New Year of the Rat'.

Manchester Art Gallery is having a day of family friendly
workshops and activities to celebrate the new year. There
will be a great range of funthings to do and all of them are
absolutely free! So why not stop by andtake part in
sometraditional Chinese folk dancing,learn about
Tai Chi, or seeclassical music demonstrations. Make
sure you don't miss the much-anticipated Lion Dance!
